Abstract

Syeikh Abū Madyan al-Maghribī merupakan seorang tokoh sufi tersohor pada kurun ke-6 H. Beliau dijuluki sebagai Ra’s al-Sūfiyyah fī Waqtih (rujukan ahli tasawuf pada masanya) dan rujukan bagi kawasan sebelah Barat Islam (Shaykh Ahl al-Maghrib). Hasil karya tulis beliau yang paling popular ialah al-Ḥikam al-Ghawthiyyah yang telah disyarah oleh ulama lain bagi memudahkan pembaca menyelami untaian maknanya. Antara kitab syarah yang dimaksud ialah Sharḥ al-Ḥikam al-Ghawthiyyah karya Shihāb al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Makkī yang dikenali sebagai Ibn ‘Ilan al-Ṣiddīq al-Shāfi‘ī al Naqshabandī (975-1033 H.). Sehubungan dengan itu, artikel ini menganalisis satu kalam hikmah daripada kitab tersebut yang berkaitan dengan perbahasan penurunan al-Quran (Tanazzul al-Qur’ān). Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif kajian ini mendapati wujud perbezaan makna semantik antara perkataan nuzul dengan tanazzul. Pensyarah hikmah ini merumuskan bahawa nuzul atau proses turunnya ayat suci al-Quran yang dikhaskan kepada Rasulullah SAW telah berlaku dan tidak akan berulang semula. Manakala tanazzul al-Qur’ān dengan maksud proses penurunan al-Quran ke dalam hati para wali Allah SWT akan sentiasa berterusan hingga hari kiamat.

Author Biographies

Abur Hamdi Usman, Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), MALAYSIA.

A native of Indonesia, he received his graduate and doctoral degrees from the Theology and Philosophy Department, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Currently, he is a senior lecturer at Dakwah and Usuluddin, Faculty of Islamic Civilization Studies at the Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), Malaysia. He has published numerous refereed books and articles on theology, Quranic exegesis, and Hadith sciences. His areas of interest include the sciences of the Quran and hadith studies.

Zaidul Amin Suffian Ahmad, Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), MALAYSIA.

A lecturer at the Department of Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah, Faculty of Islamic Civilisation Studies at the Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS). He graduated with his degree in Usuluddin (Tafsir) from Al-Azhar University in Tanta.  Then he pursued his Master’s degree in Al-Quran and Sunnah Studies from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He is actively writing articles for proceedings and journals relating to the field of al-Quran and al-Sunnah. He also participates in several grant research projects under the Research and Innovation UIS Grant (GPIK). His areas of interest include Quranic exegesis, the sciences of Quran studies, and Islamic studies. Currently, he is the Head of the Al-Quran Studies Master's Programme at the Faculty of Islamic Civilisation, UIS.

Ahmad Levi Fachrul Avivy, Institut Agama Islam Tazkia, Bogor, INDONESIA.

A lecturer in the postgraduate programme at Institut Agama Islam (IAI) Tazkia. He graduated with his degree in Usuludin (Tafsir and Hadith) from Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) in Jakarta. Then, he graduated with his master’s degree in the Usuludin and Philosophy Department (Hadith) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). His doctorate degree is also from the Usuludin and Philosophy Department (Hadith) at Universiti Kebangsaan (UKM) Malaysia. He is actively writing articles for proceedings and journals relating to the Qur’an and hadith. He also writes articles on other subjects related to Islamic studies. He also participates in several grant-funded research projects at IAI Tazkia. He has also joined Majelis Ulama Indonesia, Ikatan Da’i Indonesia (IKADI), and Mathla’ul Anwar. His areas of interest include Hadith Studies, Qur’anic exegesis, Usul Fiqh, and Islamic Studies. Currently, he is the Secretary of the Master’s Programme at Institut Agama Islam Tazkia.
