Rationale
The importance of studying contemporary Islamic issues, especially from Muslim scholars' perspectives, seems more relevant than ever. Currently, no specific journal offers a platform for discussion on contemporary aspects of Islam and its scholars. Indeed, the thought and scholarship of Muslim scholars have remained relevant across time and diverse contexts due to their universality, depth, and adaptability.
IJICI aims to fill this gap by providing an active forum for the discussion of new ideas from Muslim scholars' viewpoints in understanding the challenges of contemporary issues.
The journal is a forum for normative reflections of Muslim scholar's thoughts as a part of social scientific discourse in today’s global societies.
