Call for Papers, Volume 9, Number 2, December 2024

The currently established, fully open-access al-Irsyad: Journal of Islamic and Contemporary Issues (IJICI) is now accepting submissions for its volume 9, issue number 2, to be released at the end of December 2024.

All the articles submitted must be either in Arabic, English, or Malay.

The IJICI is indexed by Google Scholar, International Scientific Indexing (ISI), Directory of Journal Indexing (DRJI), Road ISSN, European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH), CiteFactor, ResearchBib, Base, Index Copernicus, UDL EDGE, Scientific Indexing Services (SIS), Malaysian Citation Centre (MyJurnal), Malaysian Citation Centre (MyCite), Crossref, Dimensions, Publons, ORCID iD, EuroPub, MIAR, ASI, Scilit, and OpenAIRE.

The IJICI is accepting articles on the scholarly study of all aspects of Islam and of Islamic Civilisation. In particular, papers dealing with Islamic theology, philosophy, sociology, jurisprudence, comparative religion, spirituality, Quranic and Hadith studies, history, and literature, as well as ethical questions related to scientific research are welcomed.

The articles submitted to this journal will be deemed as they have not been published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The journal welcomes the submission of articles that meet the criteria of scholarly excellence. Our review process allows the authors and researchers an opportunity to use their expertise in a number of significant ways.

The IJICI aims to reach a wider readership beyond academia, and thus we suggest authors use accessible language in their submissions. The journal is open-access and provides unrestricted online access to its readers. The IJICI has a prestigious advisory board and will be covered by the leading relevant indexing services.
