Strengthening International Collaboration in Islamic and Contemporary Scholarship
The Editorial Board of Al-Irsyad: Journal of Islamic and Contemporary Issues (IJICI) is dedicated to fostering a globally recognized academic platform that reflects diverse perspectives and international contributions. To enhance the journal’s impact and uphold scholarly excellence, we announce that all submitted articles must be the result of international scholarly endeavor or demonstrate internationally affiliated authorship.
Effective 2025, submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Manuscripts must be authored by scholars affiliated with international institutions or engage in cross-border research collaborations.
- Contributions should reflect global scholarly significance, addressing Islamic and contemporary issues from an international perspective.
- Authors are encouraged to establish interdisciplinary partnerships that enrich their research with diverse expertise.
- The journal is a forum for normative reflections of Muslim scholars’ thoughts (but not limited to) as a part of social scientific discourse in today’s global societies.
This initiative aligns with our vision of promoting academic discourse that transcends geographical boundaries, facilitating intellectual exchange among scholars worldwide. We appreciate the commitment of researchers in advancing knowledge through meaningful global collaborations.
